It went down to the final round of the 2025 Cotswold Youth & AMX Club Championship on Sunday at Rushwick for Big Wheel 85cc team rider, Jesse James for his rookie year top five finish.
Here is how the last Club Championship round with Cotswold went for Jesse.
Heading into the last Championship Round with Cotswolds Youth & AMX it was all to play for. Having not completed all the rounds due to other racing commitments I was sitting in 5th place and I wasn’t about to go down without a fight. I vowed I was staying there.

Race 1 – Had to change the suspension and back wheel on my bike before the race. Got to line on my Frankenstein bike hit the start like a boss getting out where the track was bus. It was really smooth but great fun found my flow and finished 8th.
Race 2 – Was really looking forward to race 2 the track had altered and become dry and slippery. I stuck with the front bikes for a couple of laps then had a bit of a moment on the ice which made me realise points win prizes so I reigned it in a bit and rode safe for the last couple of laps as I couldn’t afford a DNF and finished 8th again.
Race 3 – Third and final race of the day and before I went out Coach Mum had a pep talk with me, I went to the line believing I was unstoppable and my goodness I rode that race feeling a million bucks. I was having great battles even banging bars, no one was going to mess with me in this race I pushed home for a 6th.

I realised then that I had ridden the race with a flat back tyre. I felt amazing. I have loved doing the Cotswold Championship. The Big Wheel class has definitely got a lot of talent out there. I have loved every battle every race and every weekend riding.
I managed to get into the top 5 in my rookie year in the Big Wheel class. I have had to fight every race to achieve this. Next year I’m taking top 3. Thank you NORA CRS Coach Robb and everyone. You have taught me well and I will make my team proud.
WE ARE NORA CRS!
