It was a trip down South to Landrake Moto Parc for team rider Jesse James on the weekend for the latest Club Championship round with Cotswold Youth & AMC Club. The weekend was once again another joint meeting with fellow NORA Motorsport Club Severn Valley Schoolboy Motocross Club so stacked gates with riders fighting for those all important Championship points.
Read how the weekend went for Jesse below.

I headed to Landrake for a joint event with Severn Valley. Sunday being a Championship pointed Round with Cotswolds. Coming out of the last couple of events being plagued with bike problems I was really hoping for a much more positive weekend.
Race 1 – DNF: Started well settled in and ended up with a DNF due to a flat front tyre as I had to pull out just before the finish line.
Race 2 – 16th: After a change of tyre back to the line got going as was 5th into the first corner feeling confident I upped the anti and I think I got a little to confident and tucked the front end on the rollers and lost several places which really disappointed me because I know I can do better.
Race 3 – 17th: I was really unhappy with this result as I had a much more positive race and my result just didn’t show the effort I had put in.
Sunday was Cotswold Champs so I knew I had work to do. I really wanted to put in a good day after Saturday left me feeling a bit let down.

Race 1 – 9th: Feeling fresh and ready for the day, started race one and I just knew the bike issue demon had arrived back to haunt me and you really just couldn’t write it the clutch started slipping so I kept her going to the end of the race as best I could.
Race 2 – 10th: Race 2 started great I was really in the flow and pushing myself. I was coming through a rut trying to make a pass and hit a rock which flipped me and the bike upside down. Got myself right side up and pushed onto the end.
Race 3 – 9th: I was just having one of those weekends I think had a great start was coming through the roller section went down trying to avoid a bike, I got back up and went on to cut over 20 seconds off my lap times while riding with a bleeding nose and mouth from the impact of the crash.
It wasn’t a great weekend but it’s done and I’m looking forward the NORA CRS Summer Boot Camp and the NORA92 British Cup at Culham, which is a track I really like. I’m leaving the bike problems behind and I’m heading in with a positive and confident attitude to get the job done.
WE ARE NORA CRS!
